john keenan lived a happy life in easterhouse glasgow he stayed himself just along the road from his daughter nancy
my great granda keenan had cancer the most common killer of all he was the nicest man that any one could have prayed for he was kind and generous to others made sure everyone was ok and then he would look afrer himself
when my granda first found out he had cancer he was stunned he thought he would never get ill like that he always hoped he,d outlive all us which we thought he would aswell but things dont always turn out that way when he got really ill all our family rallyed round to see what we could do to help me and my aunt jan were there most nights looking after him and then we would swap with my aunt nancy she was really in bits about it and couldnt come to terms with it all and we could all understand why but in the end my wee granda just couldnt fight no more and gave up on the 15th july 2004 at half five at night he went peacefully not in pain and we hope u rest in peace my wee granda x
